Rev. Allen Christy Dayal Vijjeswarapu serves as Pastor of The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Liverpool, Pennsylvania. He is an ordained clergy of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) & AELC (India) with more than a decade of ministry experience in both India and the United States.
Pastor Allen is passionate about preaching God’s Word with clarity and conviction, leading both traditional and contemporary worship that draws people closer to Christ, and nurturing a community shaped by grace. His ministry emphasizes gospel-centered teaching, spiritual growth, and compassionate care for all ages—from children and youth to families and seniors.
He holds a Master of Theology from Virginia Theological Seminary and a Master of Divinity from Union Biblical Seminary (Serampore University). Pastor Allen’s journey in ministry has included serving congregations, mentoring young leaders, and directing outreach initiatives that extend Christ’s love to the most vulnerable.
With a heart for both local and global mission, he continues to inspire faith, hope, and unity in the body of Christ. His greatest joy is seeing lives transformed by the saving grace of Jesus.
